Guest ID holders can participate through the Guest ID program, which helps staff identify those who use the facilities.
Villagers may obtain a ID for their guests by visiting any regional recreation center, where they can fill out a form through Guest Pass Services between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:00am to noon weekends at the Savannah and Lake Miona regional recreation centers.
There are two types of guest IDs: in-area guest ID’s and regular guest ID’s. In-area guest ID’s serve Villagers who have family guests such as sons, daughters, or grandchildren who reside in Lake, Marion or Sumter Counties. Regular Guest ID’s are for any guest of a Villager who lives outside the tri-county area.
Overall there are more requests for regular guest ID’s than in-area ones, as most residents are hosting visitors from areas in which they lived before moving to the Villagers or for guest that are renting a Villagers home.
Some rentals come with a guest ID at no additional charge while other rentals homes will require a fee for a guest ID. Regardless it’s always a good idea to check with a property owner to make sure that a guest ID is available regardless of whether it’s included or will cost some extra money.
